$380,000 Recovery for Clients Burned in Natural Gas Explosion

Terry & Thweatt attorney Joe Terry negotiated a $380,000 settlement on behalf of two clients that were burned in a fiery natural gas explosion which destroyed the home in which they were sleeping.  After Terry & Thweatt conducted multiple depositions of gas company personnel and exhaustive written discovery, a history of gas leaks was revealed that had been reported at the house in question and the street on which it was located.  The case was settled before trial at mediation for $380,000.   Attorney’s fees and expenses totaled $160,202.51.
